Hi! I have many folks I'm grateful to, so I'd like to share a thank you note here.
People who've read my words and have chatted with me online while I've found my voice after a tough and lonely time, thank you to you.
I began writing on Medium a few years ago. That particularly helped me rediscover my voice after I'd taken a pause from sharing anything publicly. So thanks go to the people at Medium who make that place possible for many people like me, who love to read, learn, chat and/or write. Thank you to editors who’ve looked over my work, too. Plus, to a writer I’m thankful to have been invited to collaborate with. If you've ever read my shorter notes on Bluesky, and chatted with me there, a huge thank you to as well.
What I've seen shared there has often helped uplift me 💜
Thank you's go to my grandparents as well. Who I wrote notes to as a child, and who, I now see, encouraged my writing, by writing back to me. My wonderfully supportive husband, who I give oodles of thanks to. My children, as well, who've changed my life in many wonderful ways 💗
There's also Jannis at 'Magic Pages' (whose work has helped me make this 'Ghost' website happen). Chosen because Jannis clearly cares about what he does, and is cognisant about sustainability, with his websites working as much as possible on renewable energy.
All the therapists I've worked with thro' the years, thank you to you. People who've taught me much and wise folks who've passed on their wisdom, too. The friends I've made in recent years local to me, and women who I'm in supportive, kind circles with. Those I laugh, dance, chat, learn and cry with. My family who made me who I am today.
